Equal Sequels

As small as the list of better-than-the-original sequels are, the following list is even smaller. These are sequels that are not better than the original, because the originals are equally great films. So they stand together in the genre of greatness for lesser men to argue over which is better, but I will do one better. Make a list (albeit a short one):

There are very few examples in the movies where the sequel is a superior movie to the original, but it does happen! Here is a list of the best of those sequels:
